Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology 50th Anniversary commentaries
Commemorating 50 years of publishing
This year is the 50th anniversary of Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology (DMCN). It is also the 100th anniversary of Dr Ronnie Mac Keith's birth. Each month in 2008, commentaries of influential papers from the last 50 years will be presented. The commentaries, along with the original articles, will be published on this website.
The first commentary is by Christopher Morris covering Palisano et al's 1997 paper on the development of the Gross Motor Function Classification System. As February 2008 is the 100th anniversary of Dr Mac Keith's birth, an appreciation of his work by Dr Martin Bax will be published here and in the February issue of the journal.
